An additional idea: Bring a small pumpkin to class. Identify the color of the pumpkin. Open it and show the children the seeds and pulp inside.

Identify the seeds and pulp for the children. Give the children an opportunity to touch and feel the inside and outside of the pumpkin. This works well for Bible class and preschool class.
